For peace I try to find time for myself and my children alone. Time when we can spend quality time just relaxing. Sometimes relaxing to us means hiking a couple of miles, playing board games, talking, bowling, or watching a movie together. The main point is we do it together and not apart.
If I'm finding peace for myself without my children, you can find me spending time in my yard, shopping, napping, reading, playing the keyboard, and a few other things.
Other ideas of peace for me would include a cabin in the mountains. The cabin would have a loft that is open to the main floor, a small open kitchen, and yes a bathroom. There would be no computers, telephones, or TVs. It would have a fire place and plenty of wood. I'd love to go there, if it was real, when there is a ton of snow on the ground. Just to get away.
